As a curator, I view myself as a storyteller. My goal in every exhibit I create is to engage people to actively participate in history, arts and culture.
I’ve had the privilege of curating exhibitions for multiple fine institutions – on this page you’ll find examples of some of them.
A Monumental Undertaking: Funeral Rites and Cemeteries in Strathroy-Caradoc. January 25, 2018 – April 21, 2018 at Museum Strathroy-Caradoc.

Celebrating Canada. June 22, 2017 - September 30, 2017 at Museum Strathroy-Caradoc.
Fashioning Strathroy-Caradoc. February 10, 2017 - May 27, 2017 at Museum Strathroy-Caradoc.

I am trained in essential practices in the maintenance and protection of museum collections, including safe handling procedures, condition reporting and how to assess and meet object needs for packing, storage and display. I am proficient in preventive conservation, as well as basic treatments.
Collections management is vital to the long-term health of museum collections and I have years of experience with PastPerfect, InMagic, and other collection management softwares. I am familiar with the legal framework surrounding the management of collections including transfer of title, gifting, loans, appraisals, cultural property legislation, and copyright law.
Museums are valuable institutions that offer people an opportunity to experience and engage with artifacts and original works of art from different time periods and cultures. As an experienced museum educator I facilitate active, hands-on learning experiences.
